The Dolphins Patient Group and Carers Support West Sussex are celebrating Carers Week between the 12th and the 18th June – and we will be there with a stand as well.
Maybe you are a carer and you don’t know it? A carer “is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support.” (Carers.org)
At the Dolphins Practice in Butlers Green Road, Haywards Heath there will be talks and information for carers throughout the week (and we will see our display as well).
- Monday 12th June: Talk by Carers Support between 1pm to 2pm
- Tuesday 13th June: Presentation “Bringing more health services to you locally” by Diane Gilmour, Programme Lead of the planned care NHS Horsham and Mid Sussex CCG, 5pm
- Wednesday 14th June: A Carers Wellbeing Support Worker is available to talk to carers on a 1:1 basis between 12.30pm to 2.30pm
More information for carers in West Sussex you find on the Carers Support website.
